Banggai Cardinalfish - Endanged???

I was boppin' around the net and ran into this article tonight. It really surprised me to see that Banggai Cardinalfish are on threatened species list.. I ran across the article from a link on RC..

More of the cards need to be aquicultured . They, clowns and some of the gobies are pretty much all anyone would have a chance to breed in a home aquarium. Not enough of us are doing it either. :(
 
Its good to know that most are aquacultured but I never realized that they had such a small habitat. It makes you wonder what else..
 
A lot of the reef fish have a pretty restricted habitat. Even in fairly common species like clowns for instance if they were terrestrial critters they would be treated as different variets. Things like fish and plants tend to be lumped together a lot more than mamals and birds.
