Barbs with shrimp?

How about molly's? Can they live with them? I plan on getting one more tiger barb, and one more platy, just so that he has another same species.

dude, take the tiger barbs back unless you really like them. if you want inverts and "community" fish they're gonna make stocking options real short. they are hyper large bodied strong swimmers with a tendency towards aggression. i wouldn't necessarily call what i noticed in mine aggression. more like a large pitbull rotweiler mix not realizing that a newborn kitten isn't another large dog to play with. once they pair up they can get quite nasty too. especially the dominant pair. another point, they love the taste of shrimp.

Ok, I see your point. I just need to figure all this out. But just for the questioning mind, what about tiger barbs and cory's for bottom fish?

The only reason I got tiger barbs, was because I thought my gourami was killing my platy's and guppies. Just because they are known for their roughness...Otherwise, I would have gone with others
