Bare-bottom tanks

Just thought I'd mention the fact I had a friend, who got the measurments of his tank and got some pieces of coloured glass to cover the botom of the tankk. The effect was like a stained glass window in a church. It looked great and still kept the ease and simplicity of a barebottom tank. It perhaps a better idea than painting the bottom of a tank or leaving it reflective. Just a thought.

I've have a bare bottom tank for a couple of years now with minimal plants for cover. I more interested in lookin at the fish then the gravel
