1.5 tsp = 6dgh in 5 gallons... or 2 dgh in 15 gallons
.5 tsp = 2dgh in 5 gallons

hey dundadundun, where did you get your info from?
do you know how much a teaspoon weighs?
i dose all of my ferts by weight

It depends on the substance, so there isnt a universal conversion. No teaspoons laying around to weigh?

i have a teaspoon. should i pack the gh booster into the teaspoon or just sift it into the teaspoon?

I say one level scoop, just run the spoon through the booster.

I added 1/2 teaspoon to my 65g - plants look good the next several days. I am not sure if it is coming from the GH booster.

sorry... been busy, and obviously slacking. i believe i first got my info on a thread on the barrreport. i've been using it a while though. i personally tested to make sure that's what i was getting so it should be fine.

i don't use the weights cause i don't see it necessary for me. my tanks are 30 and 50 gallons. i think there's conversions on james's planted tank though... http://www.theplantedtank.co.uk/calculator.htm

if you're any good with math you should be able to average it out. i believe the mixture in barr's gh booster is done by weight, not volume so that should transfer right over.

when i do mine i grind it back into a powder with the back of my spoon, scoop it and level it off. i don't fluff it into a sifter or anything for exact accuracy but i do make sure it's not clumped.
