I was wanting some opinions on using worm rock in reef aquarium. I have recently acquired some on a base rock order and not sure if I want to use it.
It's base rock as well. I would like some info on using this rock.
Thanks

Assuming that there is no orgainc material and the rock hasn't been exposed to any poisons etc . It will work just as well as any other calcium carbonate rock. My only concern would be that it could possilbly be pretty fragile and I wouldn't trust it on the bottom of my reef. Keep in mind base rock will turn into live rock under the right conditions with little patience.

Rock is very fragile. But I have about 15 lbs of it and really hate to waste it.
Do you think I should give it a vinegar bath or would you just put it through a curing process?

I'd just cure it if it's that fragile ," keep it off the bottom of the pile for sure." It will look really great though after the coraline takes over and other critters like shrooms etc. colonise it. It will probably sort of melt over the years but, all that surface area will really help with the nitrogen cycle in your tank.
