basics for feeding plants (all plants)

Ok, So I have had conflicting answers to my plant questions so I am asking again, this time I need basics since I have went out and bougth lots of plant foods as described to use.

I got a giant bottle of excel, and the kits to add all the things I was told to add.

here they are....

Fundamentals Kit includes Flourish, Flourish Iron, and Flourish Excel. Enhancer Kit includes Flourish Nitrogen, Flourish Phosphorus, and Flourish Potassium. 100 ml each

so now I learn that my Vals, and my moss and my java fern can not take excel?

ok, so what can they use from the above foods? I need to know I spent money on things I can use!! so many told me I needed those above for healthy happy plants. please help this cost me a fortune!

i think the only one thats conflicting is the excel thats all.

I put Excel in all of my tanks (to varying extents) - I have Java fern & Vals & moss - no issues except my moss will die back a little if I hit it hard to kill a hair algae outbreak. Just go easy on it...

on the excel try half of what they say and go from there. the only thing i would say is dose pnk one day and the trace the other.
