beach rocks??????????

Hey does anyone know if rocks collected on the beach are safe for fresh and brackish water aquariums (cleaned of course)?????????

I have rocks in my tank that I collected from the beach. I boiled them a few times before I put them in.

No, my readings stayed the same as before the rocks were in.

All the rocks i use were from the beach.
AFAIK, as long as there are no shiny metals in the rock it should not alter your water chemistry.

I just poured boiling water on the ones i use
