There are many new members that haven't had a chance to comment on Topics that may be important to some.

One persons "dead horse topic" could be anothers' intense interest...

Hopefully in the future negative opinions on a Topic could wait 24 hours or so, unless the Topic gets out of hand.

There have been serveral old Topics that have had very interesting updates and responses from new members.

Thats' all.

I agree Joe. It's difficult to have a discussion around someone who will make it "sensational" when it was meant to be "rational". Good grief, we can't even have an adult conversation!

P.S. I wanted to comment on a previous subject you posted that got banned for unrelated "sensationalism". Maybe next time.

beating the dead horse is a very odd phrase, jah?
That phrase means bringing up an old Topic or subject matter.

Read this link: http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56491

I can see Topics locked down for rude arguing, but not for the Topic itself. Those that see no interest in a Topic don't need to reply to it.

(seems moderation got more restrictive all of a sudden...)

..oh well...

..almost a new record - less than 2 hours for a major issue and Topic to get Locked. Not even one related comment. wow.

I don't get what you are trying to say. If you want to chime in a negative comment about something, wait a while to do so? Or Just some old fogies are tired of talking about it but some newbies havent had a chance to get thier oppinions out there?

Jah, kind of odd. But it makes sense. The issue is "dead" but it keeps getting brought up. Its not very productive to keep arguing the point but some folks still find it necceary.

..y.
Not necessarily old fogies, and the Mars warming issue is true and, it was brought up only once way back.

There's another dead horse issue I could bring up, but choose not to do so...
