I'm blown away sometimes at how gorgeous they are.

Interestingly, I just bought a new young Doubletail Halfmoon (blue) today.
Gorgeous fish to say the least. I'll try to post some pics of him sometime soon.

I am a Betta lover as well. The biggest issue I have with the ones on Aquabid is how many of the best examples of the fish need to come from overseas to a designated "middle man". That just turns me off from the thought of buying as soon as I see that.

Petstore Bettas just do not compare to some of the overseas options in beauty.

Yea I feel the same way. I'd never get any, even tho I know plenty of people on bettafish.com that have. But they like to stick with the USA sellers more. But they are beyond gorgeous.
