I'm guessing thats the API. I've always got the Tetra kit. And it doesn't come with a Nitrate test.

4dkh solution is VERY worth the price. yes you can make it yourself with distilled water and baking soda. but it is quite the pain in the rear end

I have a quick question to add-don't mean to hijack.

Does running the CO2 through the canister cause any noise when the bubbles run through the impeller? I think this would be a more efficient way to dissolve the CO2 in my tank, but it runs absolutely silently right now and I like that
