Beginner BreadingI have finally reached that stage in my fishkeeping hobby that i want to start breeding fish. If someone could give me advice on a fish that I could breed that would be great. I would like to know the tank size that is needed and the water requirements and decor and so on please. :D

Yeah I've already been there and it just says fish but do those fish need any specific requirements to breed or can you just stick 'em in your current tank.

Well are you interested in Live bearers? Flag Fish? what ever you want, remember if you want to do good breeding, you will need to do a species only tank.

Well I would like to do something that is not too hard and the fish are nice and colourful. Say livebearers which ones are easiset and how would I do it.

With livebearers you just add water. Guppies, platies, swordtails and mollies are all pretty prolific. I've had lots of fry in my tank, just never suceeded in raising any of them.

For guppies, all you have to do is have them in a species only tank. Treat it like any other tropical tank and they will have the babies without any help from you. You dont have to do anything special.
