Behemoth planted tank

well this is the second time that I have read this thread all the way through. I have decided that when I when the powerball this is the second thing I am buying. First is the house to put it in. I too prefer the altums over the discus. the discus seem to spoil this natural environment in the same way a flashing neon sign reading "live nudes" would. Best privately owned tank I have ever seen.

The TN aquarium in your neck of the woods is mighty nice, Ms. Nash does the planted stuff there. Nice work.

Do not wait for powerball, go do something you like now.

OK, Tom, the tank is absolutely stunning--but how was the Floyd concert????

They never got things together enough for it.
Basically it fell through due to Esquire folks and Pink Floyd/Water's issues etc. Namely one of scheduling.

The tank is 144x48x48, sump is about 400 gallons.
I just got back from there and fixed the CO2.

It was pretty bad, they could not measure a rate due to the sensitivity at such high flow rates. Adding to that, poor pH probe calibration etc, now, after installing a viscosity flow meter(not cheap), we can easily measure mass flow volumes and trim the flows very precisely with a needle valve.

That+ good pH probes(new ones), + O2 enrichment, and monitoring set up, Neptune controller Pro 3 set up, things are looking up.
