That is interesting, but things may be different in the US than they are here....we have laws against the use of lead in such things...have for years.

even if they were lead, it takes a long time to cause health concerns. I know of a lot of lakes that have a high lead content and they advise against eating fish from them, but they have a lot of fish in them.
