Best Digital Water-Testing Tool?

What’s the best digital testing tool – probably a combination product from Hanna or hydrolab??? I actually just came across this:

Seems like a pretty expensive tool (could only be used for industrial testing) but potentially very effective?? Is there something out there for the average hobbyist and if so, which brand/tool is the best? Thanks.

My question is why? Test kits are only $15. Check www.bigalsonline.com They sell some good electronic testing stuff.

I don't think there really is a best. They all stink IMO. The technology just ain't there yet for the home user.


I'd love to have some electronics that measures all my water parameters. Test kits are a huge hassle IMO. I probably have about 15-20 different test kits cluttering up a shelf in my fish room. I wish to just press a button and see all my water parameters in real time on a computer screen. I'd like to know my water conditions instantly, whether I'm at home, work, or half way around the world.
