best flakes?

I see alot of people using formula one/two flakes.. is there a reason for this? are they better than other flakes? i haven't been able to find them locally..

are there any other brands that are recommended over the standard stuff? so far I have seen Aquareon, Tetra, Omega One marine flakes..

also what is the difference in the standard marine flakes and the "color enhancing" flakes?

I use a brand called Nutrafin Max Plus "Brine Shrimp" it says it's for tropical fish, but my damsel & Ricordea mushroom love them! I also use the slow sinking pellets and flake food, the flake food is just the standard stuff, nothing special, but gets the job done. The slow sinking pellets are decent, my fish likes them and they float then sink so they can go straight to him.

I've also herd the Omega one is good food.

For flakes I use the Formula I and II you mentioned. It is put out by Ocean Nutrition, have you tried to look for it under that?

I can find it online of course, just not in the local fish shops..
