I was just wondering, what is the best possible **not overly expensive** food i could feed my black moors? I want to spoil them this year. :) errr, next year.

glass worms perhaps?

quality pellets, bloodworms, spinach, romaine lettuce, zucchini boiled and chopped to bite-size, tiny snails, etc. . . .

just don't go crazy with it, small feedings 4-5 times a week are much better for the fish and the water quality than a buffet twice a day.

feed the best quality flakes foods, such as ocean nutrition and omega one. also, I reccomend mixing several different brands together, to give the best scope of nutrition and taste possible. I myself feed a mix of tetra, wardley, hikari, ocean nutrition, nutrafin, and omega one flakes, and my fish are very colorful and healthy, and seem to love mealtime all the more. also, feed them diced green vegitables and live worm foods.

oh, orange segments, just don't leave it in the tank for too long. the sugars can cause a bacterial bloom and cloud your water. goldfish love it though.

which plants do goldfish like to eat?

just about anything they can eat, which is anything soft. they have no teeth in the front of their mouths, so they can only eat soft plants like ancharis and camboba, but leave hard leaved ones like anubias and java fern alone.

if you feed them any vegtables, parboil them first so they are soft enough for the goldies to eat.
