best light for 10gl

Package says 60 watt equivilent to 15 watts what ever that means. but its suposed to look 60 watss and it only consumes 15 watts? ok, now I am confued but I have 2 of these 15 watt bulbs in my tank.... makes it 30 watts total and 3 watts per gallon right?

if you would count the wpg then you would incorporate the actual wattage not equivilent.. so yes yu are right 30watts total and 3wpg over a 10g tank
 
ok thanks for your help. there are so many diffrent kinds of bulbs and lights to choose from.

but remember there is a lot of restrike.... a lot of light shine back on the bulb. 4 10w bulbs wouldnt come close to a 36w bright kit.
