Best Medicine for Internal Parasites?

I am just wondering what you think works best to rid fish of internal parasites. please help...

My platy has been darting back and forth, and has stringy white poooo.

I used jungle labs parasite clear, an that worked with internal parasites, intestinal worms that my molly had, he's doing great now. if i remember you have to remove the carbon from the filter, it took 6 days of treatment

I bought some Gel-Tek Ultra Cure PX. Unforunately my poor fish died before I got the chance to use it. I hear it works well though. You add it to the food, so you don't have to worry about contaminating the water.
