I'm thinking about setting up a nano cube planted tank for my office, and was wondering where I should go to find a quality tank. Something that looks like one solid piece would be cool, yah know, without the fram on the top.

in the same direction, having gotten a 29gal planted tank running smoothly with excellent growth, what are some pointers that you'd care to pass along concerning nano planted tanks?

You may want to check out plantedtank.net, there's a nano forum with loads of info and pictures of people's tanks there - great inspiration :)
You can make a nano or pico out of almost anything - I've even seen an acrylic trashcan turned into a gorgeous little tank. If you're looking for something on the larger side and have the budget for it, the JBJ Nanocubes (6 & 12g) are nice looking complete packages, they come with PC lights and a filter - they're geared towards nano reefs, but can also be used for plants if you switch the actinic bulb for something between 5000K - 10 000K.
I chose to put together my own tiny tank using a vase, a PC desk lamp and a Red Sea nano filter, I'm very happy with it. It's only 1g, but the inhabitants seem happy and the plants are doing well (specs are in my sig, along with a lousy picture ;))
