i agree with 247Plants..... just think if it was that easy to remove the trace they you couldnt even gravel vac. many people wash it.

I used flourite. I mixed the black/brown/red and it looks amazing. The only problem is that when they say rinse it...........they mean RINSE IT. I rinsed it thoroughly in the sink, but that wasn't enough. You need to rinse a few times. We ended up draining the tank a few times but now, I can move the substrate around and I don't get any clouding. My plants are thriving in it.

lol while its nice its not a plant substrate. flourite sand would be better option then moon sand.

I like flourite a lot, it works well for me. It needs to be washed for a rediculous amount of time, but I still use it. I use it underneath quartz gravel though because I like cories. They beat up their mouths on the flourite.
