Any recommendations? I saw some on E-Bay where they sell like a pound for around 8 Bucks, but I am not sure if I should... seems like they are homemade or something.

Omega One makes great, fresh fish foods. I use their Veggie Flakes for my Africans, they also have a specific Spirulina/Kelp. I highly recommend--my cichlids thrive on the stuff!!! Check PetSmart. . . store or online.

I buy powdered spriulina from my local health food store and spirulina pills from the same source. As long as there are no chemicals added etc it will work just fine for your fish.

Ya, I should have mentioned, I am looking to buy bulk... like a pound.

When you use the spirulina powder or pills, how do you feed that? Just put in in the water?
