Best way to catch House Geckos?

It was a huge pain. They got loose in the living room with my 4 mini dachshunds. It took 2 hours to catch them all, and after that I cahanged cages to one I could just lift off the base!
Save up the cardboard tubes that paper towels are wrapped around. Place them in the cage the day before you decide to work on the cage. They should hide in them and then you can remove the tubes from the cage and place them in something with a lid on it. Pretty simple. 
For my anoles, I take out all the tank decorations(no real plants in there) and I have 2 small tupperware containers that i just kinda set over them, slide the lid underneith (without pinching them) and then leave them in their til I am done. Make sure to punch a couple holes in there.
You're not kidding! I did go nuts, that's why I changed the cage! I din't think I could handle that again.
LOL i can only imagine.As for grabbing them while in the tubes, aren't they a little fast?When i walk in the room they will zip from one end to the other and i know thats what'll happen if i try to remove them.Everytime i redo there cage at least one gets out.
When my house gecko got out, I let nature take its course. Several months later I caught the cold, pale and skinny gal in the middle of my kitchen with a fish net. Patience.
