WTB Betta albimarginata or Betta channoides

I'm looking for a pair of Betta albimarginata or Betta channoides. Please let me know if you or someone you know has them available.

I have seen some for sale on aquabid, but the sellers are from outside the country. I'm unfamiliar with buying fish from sellers outside the country, so I don't know what the success rate would be on receiving the fish alive. Or how much the final cost would be.

I also don't which aquabid sellers are reputable or not.

If anyone has any available now, or soon if you are breeding them, or knows if anyone who has them for sale, please let me know.

The Betta albimarginata is the picture on the left and the Betta channoides is the picture on the right.

I have a group of channoides that are just coming into breeding size. I'll keep you posted. There is one domestic Aquabid seller that offers these fish occasionally, Marvin Uza, screen name is Syno. I got my channoides and some other fish from him and he's a great guy to deal with. He's in Hawaii.
 
Most people have pretty good luck getting fish overseas if they get the right trans-shipper (Jennifer Viveros is the most recommended). But you do have to pay the sellers shipping cost and roughly another $30 for the transhipper's shipping and handling costs.

Doh! I didn't even think about Marc! He's a member of my aquarium club. Definitely a good guy. Last time he had the channoides I believe they were pretty expensive, $50-$60 pr pair for wc adults. Fwiw I paid $26 for 7 tr juvies @ 3/4" from Marvin including shipping, which I thought bordered on larceny! Sometimes you can find great deals like that on AB.
 
I know Brian at Brianstropicals sells these. I believe he is in Ohio. I have bought quite a few fish and shrimps from him, all very successfully. And if I ever have a question, he is very prompt with a reply. Good luck.
