betta and opaline?

hi all.have a quick question.in my 90 there is a male opaling gourami who was the king of the tank till last night.one of my angles had enough and beat him up pretty good.
because the angle won't leave him alone, i would like to move him to a 10 gal i have with just a couple of cory's and a male betta.
would that be ok or will the betta finish him off?

Bettas and gouramies typically don't share very well, since they both prefer the surface. If you can put it somewhere else, the fish will probably do better. Maybe move the betta to another tank temporarily? The less stress, the better for the gouramie to recover fully.
