betta breeding help!!

yes it would be none other than for my personal enjoyment(that sounds kinda wrong :p )

i was just curious as to whether people sold them or not.

Actualy its for my g/f i have the reef bug, but i gave her what i started with...that FW bug..now she wants to try breeding bettas, but im gonna help her most of the way since its difficult for her, and im much more experienced with fish. plus it should be a fun activity to partake in together.

good advice, tando. the best thing to hope for is to get enjoyment out of it, and have lots of fry that grow up if you have an lfs willing to take them off your hands for store credit or cash....or to let nature take its course and end up with a few nice bettas that you can raise up.:)

the pictures of people full blown betta breeding setups are amazing. It's definetly a unique species to breed in the fact that you basically have a rack of bowls with the males in them and then some breeding tanks and growout tanks (maybe the same as the breeding tanks) but it looks cool and looks like it would be fun to try one day. I've only bred bristlenose plecos up to this point. Had a couple checkerbarb babies too, but that was in a planted tank so that's cheating.
