My Betta fish has had cloudy eyes for almost a week. It started off with just one, then slowly the other one started to develop it too. I went to PetCo and they told me to do a 10% water change and use Betta Revive; however, I do not see any difference in my fish and I have been using it since Saturday. He has been laying at the bottom of his tank, sometimes breathing heavy and tries to jump out of the water sometimes after a water change. Everyday I make sure the water is warm and clean. I have been doing water changes almost everyday, mostly 50%. Today I did a full water change and didn't put any betta revive in. I can't tell if he is eating, when I put in food he doesn't swim up to the top like he used to. He is in just a regular 1 gallon tank, nothing special and no filter.

Someone please tell me what to do.

Sounds like it might be a fungal infection. I'm not knowledgeable about disease/treatments, but I think betta revive is more of a tonic/antisceptic. It's not going to help with a fungal/bacterial infection. Check the Freshwater Illness and Disease forum for info on fungal and bacterial illnesses + treatments. And post a thread over there providing complete info on your fish, tank (size, temp, water parameters, WC schedule, etc.) and the series of events.

Good luck!

true that would be like living in a glass box where food was dropped in and waste ocassionally removed
(definitely diseased)
get a filter and a heater

Post pictures in the illness section it will really help :) It needs identified before you can treat it. Also a bettas min tank size is 2.5 gallons but bigger is easier so I'd say go for a 5 or ten gallon :)
