Betta fry pics!

they grow so fast! Mind if I ask if you got your from breeders or the pet store? I read on a website all the pet store ones are "mutts" and shouldn't be bred, so I'm hesitant on breeding my little pets. Should I try, or get a breeding pair?

I got mine from aquabid, pair for like $30. But the first time I bred bettas was pet store ones because I wanted to gain some experience before buying more expensive ones. So I think you should give it a shot since you never know what color mixes your going to get from them, and you might get lucky and get some really nice unique colored ones.

sounds good, thanks :)
I'll keep looking at pairs in the meantime until something sparks my eye :goldfish:

Very nice... Making me want to breed some again.

Unless you don't mind them culling each other, you want to start preparing the separate them. I'm seeing a huge size difference, the bigger ones might decide the small ones look tasty soon.

haha yeah, I already saw one of the bigger ones eating a small one, but if you keep their bellies full they wont eat each other. And also I dont really mind them culling each other haha, I just want the strongest ones to survive.

Juice how much aquarium salt should I add? its a 10 gallon tank.

The box says 1 rounded tbls per 5g so 2 tbls for your 10g =]
