I often wonder what 'bugs' are freeswimming in tanks that I use for freeswimmers.
many times the freeswimmers pass up bbs(not often) in lieu of another bug they chase around.

apparently they could very well be diptera(fly larvae) there are a lot of flies btw

I did a complete water change and scrub down of Valentino's tank. Because he has only a sponge filter present, I hope this doesn't affect the cycle in his tank. I stirred the gravel really well and took out 98% of the water and replaced with clean. Hopefully I'll see his belly begin to shrink soon - the ole boy needs a diet! LOL
