Betta has whitish spots on head

I always thought fuzzy white spots was a fungus. Is it 2 spots one on each side of the face?

True fungal infections rarely happen. Bacterial infections are often mistaken as one when they're not. Furan, Maracyn or Binox will treat bacterial infections.

Fuzzy spots are not ich. Stay away from using the wrong treatment. I agree with Lupin on this, it is likely a bacterial infection.
