So there I was at my local walmart last weekend walking thru the aquarium section when i come to the bettas. There was a vase and inside the vase the water was so murky you really couldnt see into it. Then I saw them...not 1, not 2, but 3 yes 3 male bettas were in this vase. Poor things! 2 of them were nose to nose obviously very tired and horribly beaten up. And to make matters worse, someone had dumped a whole thing of flake food in there so the water was horrible!!. I was shocked! We found an employee and they separated the bettas into separate containers. I'm sure the red one was on his way to fishy heaven by the way he looked. I almost cried. :sad: I wish I could get my hands on the stupid punks that did that. 
I was pretty upset with walmart for not noticing earlier too. I mean that didnt happen in 10 mins ya know? I am going to write them a letter, not that it would do any good, but at least I will feel like I did something about it. I know it wasnt walmarts fault, but it wouldnt have been that bad if someone were around to notice it.
