Betta Pictures-Share them if you got them

TheMightyQueenPixie, the Turquoise Marble Butterfly is one of the nicest fish I've ever saw. For some reason it just catches my eye

Do you believe he was a freebie??? I spent alot of money on stock from a breeder in Thailand and he asked me to pic a free pair as a thankyou...Sooooooooo, i picked the nicest pair I could see...The female is also gorgeous...Although you cant see it, the male has turquoise lips...Looks like lipstick.. :) One day I will have a spawn from them (fins crossed)

this is my crowntail betta. as you might be able to see, the lower half of his tail is only half there. its growing in nicely though, and has grown about 1/4 of an inch in the 3 weeks we've had him.

Not to go off topic but do you actually ship a betta from thailand?

WOW..she doesn't look like most of the female betta's I've ever seen. We have the murderess Pretty Girl in jail in the kitchen and I thought she was pretty. She doesn't compare to your girl Mighty Queen (you gotta love being called that! LOL) Pssst. How goes the fry??

Julianbc- Yep...Its a long swim from Bankok :) The fly ovenight to Canada and get cleared through my Transhipper...She then ships them to me...Believe it or not, the cheapest part of the shipping is from Thailand to Canada...

Yeah I got one of those bad girls too..I call her "Jaws the unbreedable"...She would be a killer if i let her...
Fry guys are doing great...Getting bigger every day...They are probably about 4mm now and starting to get that grey look of real fish, not so transparent..I have another spawn that should hatch out around 9pm tonight if all goes well...I wish my house wasnt getting renovated, spawning space is at such a premium right now...

On the topic of bettas (maybe you can help me out with this one, QueenPixie)

I was perusing one of my favorite LFS today, and I saw a very interesting looking betta. They were Betta channoides, with a much larger head than B. splendens and nice short fins.

Do any of you have, or have had them? I haven't found much info regarding them online, and the price at the store was somewhat prohibitive ($120/pr).
