What if I moved the little darling after she grew out? I somewhat agree with you. I'm on the fence here. I have a 29 (30x18x12or13) gallon with two goldfish. Would that be over stocking the goldfish tank. I checked aqadvisor and they are still pretty small goldfish. But I'm trying to get a goldfish pond going. And if I manage it I'm going to put some scarlet badis in the 30 with some other mini fish. So a 'mini' pleco would be good for that tank. And I would def buy the best wood for her and give her tubes to hide in and maybe grow algae rocks for her to nibble.
Anyway I'm heating a five gallon as we speak. Once it gets to 76 and the sand settles I will place him in and add the pimafix.
Please warm it up more than 76... And you'll have to drip acclimate him before adding him to the warmer water. As you're treating, you don't need to fill the tank all the way, half or 2/3 is fine.
IMO, you should always plan for what you have now versus buying fish and trying to play catch up with maintenance & tank size later on...
if you have fancy goldfish, that 29g is bare minimum. If they're comets or commons, not even close.

They're rather small black moors. Which is why I really want the pond. Although if I could find someone who could give them a better home I would def give them away because my one is growing rapidly and I don't want him overcrowded. Maybe I'll take him to a fish auction if I cant manage a pond. It's just a gamble as to who he ends up with. I def don't want a baseball in 15 gallons.

If I had known what fancies require. Something around 200g I would never have gotten them. But I didn't find aquaria central for awhile. *sigh* That's why I would like to get a pond. But If that doesn't happen I probably will try to give away my goldfish. They will be happier in a lovely pond with other fishy friends.
Today I was at Petco and fed a stunning calico egg fish.
Eep! My newest addition has something white around her ovipositer? She was extremely amorous today. I temp placed her near the boys at the petco and she had vertical stripes and strutted her stuff. Are these unfertilized eggs? I think the guppy is trying to eat them . . .
I have heard that pimafix and melafix are not the right choice for labyrinth type fish like your betta to fight fungus. I almost made a big mistake by using pimafix on my betta when he had fungus actually someone told me here in this forum that it is not the right choice for bettas. I have read that it can do damage to that organ. Try fungus cure and adding a little aquarium salt may help too. I hope the fish gets better. For more info google bettas and pimafix.
