Betta Rescape

So my wifes betta has been in a tank with fake plants for a couple of months. All of our other 8 tanks are planted. I decided to rescape his tank a couple of nights ago and here are the before & after:

Maximus likes to sleep in the top of the Sessiflora on the left side of the tank. Before that, he would just sleep on the sand.

That is a 10 gallon. When we first got him, he was in a 2 gallon. When we moved, we moved him to the 10 with some ramshorn snails and 2 dwarf shrimp.

He has always loved the fake rock decoration, so when I did the rescape, I cut the fake plants off of it and put it back in.

I agree with Owl. My parents have fake plants in there tank and the fish could care less about them. My tank has live plants and they sleep inside them and in the roots and they like to swim between leaves. Live plants just make fish so much happier.
