Hmm... I've neglected all my duties as a fish keeper. I will admit that I do have a pychological disorder and when my disorder kicks in, I shut down. With that in mind let me tell you what happened to my tank.

That pretty much describes me as well, except as well as shutting down sometimes I also get violent. So far I've kept the violent to just tearing up and killing all outdoor plants though.
I hope you get better.
(Just a thought, I've been looking into this myself so thought I'd mention it. The Walstad method is suppose to be virtually maintenence free - supposedly - perhaps that would work for you. )
