Since the 5 doesn't have a hood, you get to be creative! If you are lucky you might find just the hood for sale, but my experience with small tanks has been that stores sell the entire package (usually: tank, undergravel filter, and incandescent hood) not individual pieces.
So... for lighting, why not try a regular desk lamp with one of those energy saving compact flourescent bulbs pointed right at the top of the tank? I'm not certain about the spectrum provided, but those are good little lights and I've got some anacharis doing rather well under those conditions.
And no, Home Depot won't carry full on hoods, but they'll have all the fixtures for flourescent lights if you feel like making one yourself! For a five gallon tank though, I don't think you need to go that far out.
