Betta Tank

What about snails? I don't know to much about them though. Not sure if the Betta will eat them. Maybe someone with knowledge will post.

Snails would be good too. If you go with snails get larger ones. I know most of my bettas will eat the snail body's of the smaller snails and leave the empty shells riddled on the ground. =) I have plenty of snails though so I like it that way.

an apple snail would be good- or maybe one frog. I think pygmy cories or shrimp are fine suggestions but they would really depend on your betta. In a tank that small you might run into problems as he coule easily decide he would like to chase and eat them.

The betta would not eat the corys, but the shrimp might be at risk, especially when they molt! Keep in mind though, if you get the pygmy corys, you would probably not want to section off the tank later, that wouldn't leave them with enough room. I really like the snail I have, it used to be with my betta, the snail was about the size of a quarter or so, and the betta never bothered it
