Betta Tanks-large pic warning

Now the wife wants one................you guys...

Cute females. Very pretty, usually I am not fond of them but your tank changed my mind.

Hehehe I just noticed your hand, were you trying to get them to pose in one area?

Easiest way to get a fish or any other animal to pose is to direct their attention to where they get fed everyday...LOL...it's the only way I can get them to stay still long enough to take a pic. :)

Female bettas are underrated. They have great personalities and aren't as dull coloured as people think :) I really want to set up my 75g as a female betta tank....just take this one and make it much bigger. Then I can add 10 more girls to the mix...

Thats a great idea. I have never thought of that. It might be because my fishes make some scary faces when they are hungry or think they are going to get food. My clown likes to skim the top of the tank real fast and nip at the bubbles. My freshwater fish follow the hand and look like they are ready to jump out and sail towards you. And to think I used to be so afraid they would hide at any signs of human life.

Now I am tempted to get a female betta. Maybe my interest in freshwater will spark again. I will have to check out the ones at my LFS. I have lots of room in my 35G and an unused 5G.

I'll have to send you some pics for your wife when I get my 75g set-up done. It's going to have (hopefully!) 10-15 females living together.

Now I know how to take pix of all of our babies. YYYEEEHHHAAAAA. Love the betta tank and the females are just gorgeous...and the male too. Had a turqouise one named Turkey and a red one named Ruby. They loved pretzel sticks to nibble on. Only once a month though.:dance2: :bday:
