my brother wants a betta he also makes amazing things with lego can he put lego in the tank with it

probobly not, you might be able to if you seal it off with aquarium sillicone. I'm going to say no...

Clean them up by boiling them and silicone the pieces together. I've seen a lego cichlid tank before that the guy rounded down with sandpaper or something.

I think the question is can the lego go in the tank with the fish, not can the lego's make a fish tank.....

I would think, "why not" and maybe you wouldn't even need to clean it off or boil it first but I would anyway...

Ya, I wouldn't make the tank out of legos lol, but if you are into having legos in your tank then go for it. No need to boil them, as boiling them might distort the legos to the point where they won't fit together.

If you are really paranoid you can soak them in a 20% bleach/water solution then rinse well.

if i recall correctly, lego is made from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). ABS is safe and used in many aquarium applications from my reading and experience.

lego that tank up i say! :)

wash / rinse them off - no reason you cant put them in there
