betta with lego

lol he wanted a betta but i thought that he would do water changes ect but hes all intrested now lego is menstioned hes making a cleaning schedule

done it w/o ill effects but no bleaching or sanding or boiling as such can change its safety measures. Using fishing line (not too long) to tie down and place it over air bubble disk. You will enjoy Luke's starfghter suspended and moving although fish might not like it

Legos should be safe ,kids chew on them all the time and dont die. Lets see, we have had matchbox cars, keys, bottles, coins,BBs,even silverware..Not sayng to do them all but the betta lived..lol

Very dangerous statement as coins will cause massive wipeouts and/or unbearable sight/symptoms to look at. I havent tried the rest though nor will I ever.[/QUOTE]

Guess ill have to pick the assorted coins out of the 2.5 gallon betta tank. Honestly they have been in it since my son set it up a couple years ago. Got a Walmart betta,he used pennys to weigh down his lil plant hes got in it..I will have to get a pic and put "what not to let your 7 yr old put in a betta tank". He put matchbox cars, some coins,a key,a pile of BBs called the treasure..lol and currently the last few weeks a spoon he was moving stuff with is laying in the bottom..Just a small whisper filter i cut the intake shorter on keeps it clean with small weekly water changes..I have never tested the water, but the fish appears healthy and is active..Im not saying its a good idea but i havent had any issues, and my kid loves his tank and Mr Fishy..lol

My son has a 10G with a single betta in there, I keep thinking of rescaping his tank as it is a bit of a mess. He is also really into Lego so would love to have something in there, might have to look into it.

maybe assembling the lego structure upside down and filling the spaces with wet sand would work to keep it from floating? either that or silicone a flat lego plate to the bottom of the tank and build on that.

I think weighing down the lego plate with rocks would probably work pretty well.

I meant the caves and such were made of legoes. Not that the aquarium itself was made of legoes. That would just be...silly.

He siliconed the structures straight onto the tank.
