Bettafix and inverts

irishspy

There is a stargate in my aquarium.
Is bettafix (a highly diluted variation of melafix) dangerous to inverts? I think Rocky has a case of fin rot and I wanted to use this to help treat it (along with water changes), but I know some fish meds are bad for invertebrates, so I thought I'd do a bit of research.

:read:

Melafix and Pimafix are invert-safe, and I would assume Bettafix would have to be as well.

yeah mela/primafix defo invert safe they are totally natural meds so would assume that betta fix is allthoygh i only use half dose with both my tanks

i use mela/primafix with both my bettas with no problems and had never heard of any one that has (allthough i only use half dose with both my tanks and it seems to work for me) and until now hadnt heard of bettafix

on reading ur question i looked it up here is a link which may help http://www.aquaria.info/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=17002
after reading the link i think it should be make clear an the bottles that it is not safe for laberynth fish thank u for showing me this as it has probably help save my fish
