Bettas and Mystery Snails

do you have the snail already? if soo post a pic and i will see cuz i have had different types of snails with my bettas and some they eat some the dont.

I've already got the snails and i was just wondering....dont worry i have a backup plan if they wont work w/ my bettas...my girlfriend has a nice goldfish tank that they would work well with. Here are a pic for identification purposes like betta-gurl asked for....

They look pretty big, I was always told that snails are okay as long as they are not small enough to fit in the bettas mouth! I want to get a snail for my betta tank, and my LFS never has any :(

Yeah they look big.
How big are they?
I've kept dollar sized ones with bettas.

They are about the size of a quarter right now.

I didnt know if they would get picked on by my bettas...my newest betta seems to be opertunistic about food....

yes i have kept those in the past with my bettas and they seem to be fine as long as they are bigger then a nickel... I had one and i named him snickers i dont know why... But anywayz i had him in my 10G with my old betta Superman(RIP) and he was only about the size of a nickel and he got eaten... it was a very sad day for snickers... :(

update

Well as a matter of fact i put the three snails i had into the individual betta tanks....something told me to keep an eye on my newest betta Zeus....and good thing I did...as soon as the snail started to come out of his shell Zeus started nipping at him....piece by piece  ...it happened three times and i decided enough was enough so the snail was moved to a small tank/quart jar by himself to recover for a bit. the others dont seem to mind the snails.
