hey there! i just got 2 male crowntails from my LFS and got the biggest betta tank with a divider.maybe a 1/2 gal. now, i dont feel that they each have enough room. i have a 55 gal that is my pride and joy, with lots of mollies, some platies, and angel fish, 5 danios, 2 plecos, 2 clown loaches, and what i think may be a tiger barb. (my b/f got it for me, and on the reciept it said it was a barb, but it doesnt look like any i have ever seen, maybe a tetra or something). i was wondering if a 55 gal would be too big for a betta. my mollies may like the long fins and pick at them, or the angel too. my brother has 1 in his 30 gal, and does great, but i think my tank would have too much of a current for him to be really happy. i also have a 20 gal with alot of fry. would that maybe be better for him?
also, my tanks are much warmer than their room temp tank, how would i go about transitioning him from cool to warm??
sorry if this is kind of confusing, i never planned on buying bettas, so i dont know enough about them, just tryin to be a good mama.
thanks to everyone who helps me out here at AC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
