its okay. i would get the chihiro one but i root for it to be overly expensive.

It isn't the most expensive light, but it's above average.

just get something that physically goes on the tank, and get something brighter than you think you need, but dimmable. and try to stick to daylight.

note it isn't dimmable, as far as I can tell, but decent spectrum.

I dont really mind non-dimmable light, i leave at full until i go to sleep. So a lot of algae lol.
Yeah, it seems decent enough and is much brighter than light on my smaller tank

I don't think the light will cause that much, unless you are leaving it on through 14+ hours a day.

But there's more than scrubbing algae from the glass, especially if you are keeping plants.

Yea, the algae can be on plants as well but if they grow fine then not much of a problem..

lets say id put the lights on 3pm? And leave them be until i got to sleep?
