I was wondering if I could keep cichlids with a black ghost knife and a baby whale fish and if so which cichlids would be best. I already have those 2 fish but thinking of moving my corydoras and my angel fish into another tank and wanted to add cichlids.

I Think some very peaceful cichlids could work. Maybey electric blue acara, angelfish, maybe key hole cichlids.
