Big Als online vs store prices?

I have found that the online BA's prices for regular stuff seems to be pretty close to the actual price of the stuff in the BA's stores in my area..

ie its probably cheaper to go to your local BA's and buy the item rather than get it shipped.

but of course, here in Canada, there are BA's stores all over it seems...

I think for the regular priced items, the prices seem similar or same. But on their web, they also have clearance items which often has 50% off. I am actually wondering if those also apply in the BA local store.

I think I will give a visit after work today and find out.

Having worked retail ..there is cost differences of warehoused items and retail shelf items.

the price is usually higher as the cost of the space the item occupies is higher.

warehouse pricing is much lower..staffing is different too as the folks in the warehouse do not have the public interface.

bunch of little things that add up.

It is true... Big Als local store does not respect specials published on the web...

Petco in our areas are also independently owned and do not match online pricing.
