Big convict rescue

Ok went to a "place" had two convicts in a 10ga. After convincing them to give me on I went to walmart, bought a rubbermaid container and slapped on an extra Biowheel100 on it... So here are pics.. Free to home with big tank... might have anotehr one soon

how do i find out if its male or female?
 
Good for you Andrew. Was this from that guy whos house you were roofing? I'm sure the con is happy to get outta there. :thm: Do you think you could turn the filter off for a few seconds to take a pic? I'd like to see an unblurred image. lol

On a semi-unrelated note, I bet they could make a lot of money on those containers if they made them completely see through. Just a random thought.
 
I'll get some pics 2marrow. Hes pretty big, jumped out once while I was cutting the cover to fit around the filter. Im sure hes happier, a little stressed but happy. Yes its from that house. Sense me and the Wife split up Im gunna biuld a 235gallon tank within the next 6months. I plan on starting and having it done within a year. I want an arowana!!! or some Pbass. yea if those containers where perfectly clear they wouldnt be able to keep them on the shelves, mainly cause ide have a few hundred
 
Good for you,I hope you find a home for them.The female would usually have a red belly.Males tend to be just have the black strips and hump when older,and when full grown,can be three times the size of a female.

is the heater on anything? Cause if it isnt it may burn through the plastic
