Anybody have problems with these? http://www.petsolutions.com/Big-Digital-Temp-Alert+I88330711+C1037.aspx I have three and I can put all three in a tank right next to each other and they will vary as much as 8 degrees. The one usually isn't even close and I've replaced batteries thinking that that was the problem. They all worked well for about six months and then the two just went haywire, the tanks I had them in ended up with glass thermometers back in them. When the first one went I thought the heater needed to be turned up so I was going to crank it up since it was not running, then I thought I should check the temp using one of the others and I got two different readings. One said 72, the other 80. I ended up putting a glass thermometer in there and it said 80 (I could have boiled me some fish). Even this summer when it was in the upper 80s in our house, the temp alert never got close to that temp. I don't know, kinda at a lose with them. Paid enough, thought they would last longer then 6 months.
