Seriously though... i think its stupid... they used to have a grouper ( i believe thats what it is, its a fish that sticks onto whales in the ocean lol)
and i few other huge fish..... now THAT was cool

This is the same thing I posted on the "what's your dream tank thread" from a few days ago, but I'd have a cold-water tank with a mix of plain and golden dojo loaches and a huge school of white could mountain minnows.
And I guess if the tank is 500+ I'd have a few goldfish, too.

500+ eesh, big tank. No monsters, ugly fish IMO. Uhh, lemme see, a ton of cory cats, and a betta harem (or two) with plants and driftwood like crazy. About 6 or so BN plecos, snails, and maybe something else, but I don't know what. Neons (like 100) would be kinda cool.

If I could afford really really big tanks (in the many thousands of gallons range), I'd keep some of the giant catfish. I'm not talking redtails and shovelnoses, I mean the real giants, over 5 ft. and 100 lbs. I'd also like to keep a bunch of polypterids, gars, and bowfin; I just love the ancient fish.
