Thanks, she kind of surprised me when I went couldn't find her, but I remeber reading about somebody's Bamboo shrimp that would always crawl up the filter output. I tried getting a flash picture but she jumped down as soon as I hit the shutter button.

Darn you, now I want to moneyworth(pennyworth? I always get the two mixed up)

I have both, Moneywort is the tall green plant on the left. Brazilian Pennywort is the light green plant in the middle with the wide, water lily looking leaves.

Beautiful work on the tank!
I love the driftwood and the mixed rubble around it. I can imagine the kuhlis love to hang out in there. :)

what's a wpg? Please.

Thanks. Yesterday, I turned on the lights at about 3:00 AM wanting to get a midnight snack and I saw 6 little Kuhlis freaking out in the rocks and pottery. One was strong enough to move a 1/4 pound rock 3 inches from her being surprised.

I have 55G. The lights are standard hood and bulbs that came with the tank.
It has 2 hoods with 17 watt bulb in each. So you can imagine what the wattage is.

I cant go for the expensive lights. What would you suggest ?
your tanks are cool and the lights and plants look perfect. Please please suggest something like what you did with you 20 Gallon.

^ Just go to wal-mart or a hardware store, go to the lights department, look around for 4 foot fluorescent strip lights and buy the required lights for it. This should give you enough light to start a planted tank in your 55.

I did a really big trim and replant of all my plants, so I will post updates soon.
