Big Pleco Care

Cucumbers are nutritionally poor along with lettuce. Zuchini is a better food nutritionally.

I usually feed him veggies 2 times a week. I only leave them in overnight, then remove them in the morning as my monster pleco has eaten every last bit by then.

It varies. But it is recommended to feed them at night and removing the remains in the morning. Cucumbers make a huge mess. Im currently feeding mine Zuchini daily since there not messing with the hikari algea wafers. They just be making a mess with em. They be chomping through the zuchini though. I want to try a different squash next but I was told before that some fruits and veggies cloud more then others do to the sugars the plants have. I wanna do a pumpkin though a mini pumpkin
